Refunds & cancellations

An unlock gives you the owner’s contact and the exact location for one listing. If that home turns out to be already rented within 7 days of your unlock, and it is confirmed rented (by several renters’ reports or by our team), we automatically add one free unlock to your account. You’ll get a notification when it’s added.

If the number doesn’t work or the details are wrong, use “Report this listing” on the unlocked listing. We review reports within two working days and credit you if the report checks out.

Unused credits in a pack don’t expire while your account is active. Passes can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the paid period. We refund an unused pack or pass in full if you ask within 7 days of buying it and haven’t used any of it.

Most refunds are returned as unlock credits. Where you ask for money back and qualify, it goes to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

If an unlock is credited back to a renter, the scout reward for that unlock is not paid out. Rewards for listings found to be fake are withheld.
