Privacy Policy

Account details you provide (email or phone number), the listings and searches you interact with, and — if you scout — the details and media you submit about a rental board. We store approximate coordinates publicly and exact coordinates privately.

To run the marketplace: authenticate you, show relevant listings, process unlocks, credit scouts, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

Scouts photograph TO-LET boards that owners put up publicly to find tenants. The phone number and name from a board are stored privately. They are never shown in public photos (the app hides the number before a board photo is published) and are revealed only to a renter who pays to unlock that listing, for the purpose of renting that home.

If you are an owner, you can ask us to remove your listing, mark it rented or correct it at any time through the owners page, without an account. We act on removal requests within 72 hours.

You can ask to see, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Write to our Grievance Officer, VidyaSagar PM, at hello@flatbee.in. We respond within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Photos are stripped of location metadata before upload, and faces or number plates can be blurred by scouts before publishing.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and shortlist; transaction records may be retained where required for accounting and fraud prevention.
